Being who I am, I'm always trying to do something different. It may sound great to some, but more often than not I find it quite frustrating. I see/hear* something and I want to know whether I can do it myself. But it's not long before I'm introduced to something new and I'm off on another tangent. That will never change, but I hope to bring a bit more consistency to my work from now on.
Last year I built a (fairly crude) portfolio website whilst I was looking for a job in graphic design. Thankfully it, (and weeks of job hunting) paid off and now I'm officially a 'junior graphic designer'. So now that the pressure is off, (to get money to stay alive) and my technically skills are improving on a daily basis, I feel it is a good time to start anew.
I don't actually know what I'm going to do just yet. I'm sure I'll still dabble in various visual mediums/genres. I just hope to control my output more and hopefully deliver something I like for more than a week.
God knows who actually reads my journal on here... either way, thank you for your time.
